Our Global Missions look beyond our community, reaching the world through missionary support, work mission trips, disaster response in the U.S. and abroad, and support through the United Methodist Committee on Relief.

Central Texas Conference Youth in Mission

Each summer, Junior high and Senior high youth each participate in CTCYM (Central Texas Conference Youth in Mission) mission trips. The Junior high will travel to locations in Texas while the Senior High destinations are out-of-state.

CTCYM brings more than 2,500 youth and adults together to put Christian faith into action by repairing and rebuilding homes weathered by age, poverty or natural disaster.

The CTCYM experience is brought together by the spirit of God and a volunteer task force of youth and adults from around the Central Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. This group identifies a geographical area of need, a theme for the week, and the steps to achieve both.

Then, for two separate weeks, youth groups from across the Conference blend together to become CTCYM Living Centers. Each Center is led by a well-trained, all-volunteer staff dedicated to providing participants with a spirit-filled week of service.
